tristan turns one

My nephew, Tristan, turns one today. His party was on Saturday with more presents than you can imagine and lots of cake. It was pretty cute during presents. Tristan just walked around and played with the lawn toys while Jill opened his presents.



Kate is getting so grown up. She has lots to talk about and wants to see what everyone is doing. Someone was asking her dad if he had a brother. Kate thought that they were talking to her and just answered "No-ah" (like duh, of course I don't have a brother). She now adds an "ah" at the end of her no's for that extra sass.

The rest of the weekend was really good too. We got to see a parade, bought two vintage cameras at a flea market, got a little tan, ate a whole bunch of food, and saw some awesome fireworks. I definitely enjoyed my weekend "off". No major photo sessions or processing was done. Now it's back to work!
