a wedding preview

I'm still plugging away at Knight Light work and was able to do a little preview of pictures from last Saturday's wedding. The weather on Saturday was absolutely gorgeous and fairly comfortable in the shade (I think the temperature got up to 92). We were able to joke around with the bride, groom and their families which makes a big difference.



The father of the groom came up to me after the ceremony and said that he really appreciated what we were doing and that he felt like things were going so smoothly thanks to us. Josh said that he overheard him later saying to someone (pointing at me), "Yeah, this little gal here will tell you right where to go and what to do. I love that". Someone appreciated my bossiness!



Really though you have to be a little bossy to be a wedding photographer. You can't question yourself or fumble around. It's go, go, go! Lucky for me I take more after my dad in that department.

The wedding went off without a hitch. There was a groomsmen close to passing out but the father of the bride swooped in and everything was good. I handled being on my feet all day remarkably well but crashed when we got home. Only one more wedding this month!
