trip to the city

It really doesn't matter how many times I go up to Chicago, I think I will always feel like a country mouse in the big city. Josh and I took the train up on Saturday to do some engagement pictures. It was my first train ride so I had highly romanticized it. Uh, yeah...kind of a letdown. The train was thirty minutes late which sounded pretty standard and then Josh and I couldn't even sit together! (Luckily the way home was better.)



We had about four hours in Chicago to drive to our different locations and take the pictures. I'll admit that I was wiped out by the time we were done. We went to Lincoln Park and walked down to the beach. Then we drove over to Grant Park and took pictures at Buckingham Fountain. It was so fun to just walk around and take pictures wherever.

Josh and I are hoping to take the train up again for the day later this summer. It would be nice have a little more time to just look at everything!
