about me

I'm 28 and live in central Illinois. I've been married to an amazing man for three years. We have a little white dog and just bought our first house! We are also expecting our first child in October. I LOVE design and photography. I'm busy getting my own business up and going. We also do what we can to be a little more eco-friendly.

go with the flow

Monday, May 05, 2008

On Saturday after taking a quick nap, I immediately woke up telling Josh all of the things I needed to get done. He wasn't thrilled with that so instead of telling me, he told the baby.

"Baby, sometimes your mom gets a little rammy. She'll get all crazy listing the things she needs to do. My advice to you is to just go with the flow. When she's running around, just go with the flow. That's really the only thing you can do. I've learned to do that so I know you will too. Just go with the flow. Okay, I think that's all. I love you, Baby. Develop well."

I can't wait until i can give advice to the baby.

I guess i can start now.

"Dear baby,
If you are going to sneak out of the house to hang out with other babies at the sandbox, make sure to leave some clothes, a towel, and a bottle of water, all in a plastic bag outside your window,. That way, when you come back to the house to sneak back in, you can use the water and towel to wash any dirt from your face and arms and such, and you can change out of your sand-filled clothes, put the sandy clothes, dirty towel, and water bottle in the plastic bag, and hide it all under your bed until you drop the clothes in the washing machine later. That way, you'll be deceptively clean and you won't have tracked in sand, which will give you away."

Can't wait for this baby to come.

"ps. Baby, I hear stray cats poop in sandboxes, so you might want to hang out somewhere else."
