about me

I'm 28 and live in central Illinois. I've been married to an amazing man for three years. We have a little white dog and just bought our first house! We are also expecting our first child in October. I LOVE design and photography. I'm busy getting my own business up and going. We also do what we can to be a little more eco-friendly.

perfect mystery

Tuesday, January 08, 2008

This picture almost got deleted on camera. I had snapped it with my little Nikon S5 but realized after that my ISO was set high. I changed it and took the picture again. (The clouds were really cool.) For some reason I decided not to delete the pic right then. When I uploaded the pictures to my computer I almost deleted it again but changed my mind.

It's something different for me but after I played around with it, I decided I liked it. Yes, the sky is completely blown out. But there's something about it that keeps me looking at it. Sometimes the mystery of a picture is just as exciting as a technically perfect one...

Sometimes the "rejects" are the best shots.
