about me

I'm 28 and live in central Illinois. I've been married to an amazing man for three years. We have a little white dog and just bought our first house! We are also expecting our first child in October. I LOVE design and photography. I'm busy getting my own business up and going. We also do what we can to be a little more eco-friendly.

warm apple cider

Weather.com just told me that it's a high of 88 degrees today. It is October right? I have so many cool scarves going to waste in the closet. It has been getting chilly in the evenings though. Josh heated up some apple cider last night and added some cinnamon. I wish I could have taken a picture of how it smelled because it was delicious. I definitely feel like that's the challenge of photography sometimes to capture something so that you can remember how it smelled. Or like when I took pictures of the windmills the other day...I wanted to remember exactly how they sounded and what the whoosh of wind felt like. I really, really like learning how to capture different emotions and senses with a picture.

Yes, Yes, and Yes!!!

Where in the world is fall? It peeks out at me every once in a while...but then it is gone just as fast only moments later. So many scarves, so many sweaters...sitting, crying in the closet.

(Sidenote: can't wait to see the scarves you'll have for sale on your etsy site!)

I have the same issues with photography...why can't we have scratch and sniff pictures...or, even better, the pictures like in Harry Potter where they show moving moments in time. Now THAT would be AWESOME!!!
Abbey,
I really need to get my scarves listed. I have plans for a bunch that haven't actually been made. But I do have a lot to list!
