about me

I'm 28 and live in central Illinois. I've been married to an amazing man for three years. We have a little white dog and just bought our first house! We added a new member to our family in October. Jasper is simply made of awesome and makes us laugh everyday. I LOVE design and photography. I'm busy getting my own business up and going. We also do what we can to be a little more eco-friendly.

what's mine is yours

Friday, January 12, 2007

Josh is very adamant about the fact that the D50 is OUR camera, not just mine. I have a little problem where I refer to it as my camera. Josh will usually just look at me and I know to correct myself.

The other night I was talking excitedly about a lady I found on Etsy who makes small custom camera bags. I had been looking for just such a thing so I could easily carry just the D50 around with me ALL THE TIME.

I said to Josh, "Yeah, now my daily picture will be even easier because I can have my camera with me all the time." Josh gave me the look which I definitely recognized.

Instead of correcting myself I said, "Hey, how about when I get a new camera, you can have the D50 and it'll be all yours".

Josh didn't really appreciate this comment but I thought I was being VERY generous.
