Tuesday, September 12, 2006When you think of rebellious, I'm sure most of you instantly think of me. Yes, I am such a rebel. This past weekend Josh and I did something so rebellious... We painted our apartment bathroom blue. Labels: apartment living
I moved into this apartment almost three years ago. One of the first things I asked was if I could paint. They said no and I accepted it. Now almost three years have passed and the landlord has not done a single thing around the building. Josh actually mows our section of the lawn because Bebo was getting lost in the grass. I finally reached the point of not caring when I asked them to replace my stove or at least look at it. It looks to be from the early 60's and often makes the apartment smell like gas. Safe, right? They didn't even stop by so that was that. I said screw it and we painted.
I picked a subtle color because chances are they won't even notice this way. I love the blue. The bathroom even looks cleaner. The picture on the left was when I first moved in.

And because Josh and I are such rebels...we're even thinking about painting the living room.
