Internet, meet my niece...
Josh and I went over to the hospital to meet our new niece, Kate. She is so sweet and beautiful (totally doesn't have that newborn squished face). Missy and Eric were both looking a little tired but really happy. Missy passed her off to me as soon as I got in the door. She wouldn't open her eyes for me...just slept peacefully. It's pretty cool to be an Aunt.
One of my favorite Ben Folds songs is "Kate". I'm thinking that Uncle Josh and Aunt Kimberly will definitely have to serenade the little one very soon...

hope things are going good in grid-town. it finally stopped storming really bad here, now we have 102 degree days, with an 110 degree heat index. but i still go play golf. i played a few holes today with this old guy named joseph....pretty sure he was a ghost. welp, c-ya later. play on playa!
