new addition to our family

Josh and I are adding a . . . camera to our family. We have been wanting to get a small camera for quite awhile. Sometimes the D50 just isn't convenient to lug around. Josh decided to be sneaky and order me the Nikon S5 for my birthday (which isn't for a month). Unfortunately yesterday he left his email open on the computer when he left for work. There was an email from BH Photo confirming his order. I was upset because 1) now I know what I got and 2) we don't really have the extra cash for it. I decided to tell Josh that I knew. We had a discussion about the camera when he got home from work. I was determined that we would just send it back but Josh had other ideas. Basically he made the decision to keep the S5 and just get me something different for my birthday. His parents gave us some cash for our anniversary with strict orders to use it for something fun so it's going towards this cute little camera.

I got an email from Josh this morning with this picture attached. I can't help but be excited. I guess when you're responsible all the time about money it's nice to do something a little frivolous. Plus I'm a camera junkie...no seriously, I think I need help.
