Cap'n Crunch

The big festival is over for another year. Josh and I went up town a few times throughout the weekend but I have to admit that I was disappointed with it. I thought this year's would be huge since it was the sequicentennial celebration. I really think they should have taken a few years off and saved up money to make it big. Oh well, what do I know, right?

The parade was pretty good although it was so spread out that it got kind of boring. The highlight for me was definitely Cap'n Crunch who was tossing out mini boxes of cereal. We took Bebo to the parade with us and he did really well. He was totally scared at all the fire trucks though which was pretty cute. Josh and I got enough candy to last us two years so I guess the parade was a success.

about me

I'm 29 and live in central Illinois. I've been married to an amazing man for four and a half years. We have a little white dog and bought our first house in 2008. We added a new member to our family in October 2008. Jasper is made of marshmallows and awesome. I am lucky enough to stay at home with him. He makes us laugh everyday. I also have my own photography business called Knight Light. We also do what we can to be a little more eco-friendly.
