about me

I'm 28 and live in central Illinois. I've been married to an amazing man for three years. We have a little white dog and just bought our first house! We are also expecting our first child in October. I LOVE design and photography. I'm busy getting my own business up and going. We also do what we can to be a little more eco-friendly.

I am wiped out! Good goo. We decorated for like 5 hours. BUT...everything is pretty much done. We have a trellis to do and some pew bows to make. Other than that...tables are up and even silverware is on them. Everything is looking so nice. I'm really happy with how it's turning out. We were even able to put up all the tables without being on the dance floor. Tomorrow should be fairly relaxing, believe it or not. I need to clean my apartment, possibly give my dog a bath if I'm feeling ambitious... I'm tanning and I'm getting a massage... Josh has to pick up his tux... Random thoughts... Sorry. I really don't feel stressed. And I still don't think its sunk in yet...

Everything looks great! It's so nice that you have a day to relax and breathe a bit.

I can't wait to see pix of you in your dress!!! You are going to be such a beautiful bride.

Congrats a day early!!!
You're getting married TOMORROW!!! I hope you have a lovely, amazing day, and don't forget to breathe.

As for sinking in, it didn't hit me that I was actually getting married until I started to walk down the aisle. Then it hit me all at once and everything past that moment is a blur. I really don't even remember my walk down the aisle, or much of our ceremony at all. I don't even remember the music (harp), which I had been so excited for.

It is YOUR special day, yours and Josh's, and I hope you can enjoy every single second of it.

And then, prepare for the after-wedding let down. It's a strange feeling when it's all over- this day you've worked so hard on, that you've dreamed about since you were a little girl.

Have a wonderful honeymoon. RELAX.
(sorry this comment is so long- I should have just emailed you)
Love the table numbers! Everything looks great.

And, I have to agree with Sondra about the post-wedding let-down. I loved all the planning I did, it was fun, not stresssful, etc. ... I thought I would be fine afterward, but I wasn't. Here we were, in beautiful Hawaii and I couldn't enjoy it for a full 24 hours. I certainly needed that time to wind-down, let it soak in that it was all here and gone. Would have been a good time to write down all the details ... but I didn't (if you get a chance to, you might appreciate it later).

Enjoy your day!
