about me

I'm 28 and live in central Illinois. I've been married to an amazing man for three years. We have a little white dog and just bought our first house! We are also expecting our first child in October. I LOVE design and photography. I'm busy getting my own business up and going. We also do what we can to be a little more eco-friendly.

A little recap

Tuesday, July 05, 2005

What a crazy weekend. I felt like everyone was running in different directions the whole time! Saturday my mom and I went out to the seamstress so she could look at my dress. The darn bustle was stressing me out. She said she can fix it but I was stupid and didn't bring my slip and shoes so I have to go back out today. She said that she'll be able to do it tomorrow...you know, three days before the wedding. Plenty of time!

Saturday night was Josh's bachelor party. The guys went golfing, out to eat and then ended up back at my apartment. They made a bonfire and did "guy" stuff. Tony girlfriend, Emily, and I were banned from even going outside! It was annoying because it was just one guy that made this rule...even Josh wanted me to come out there after awhile. Oh well, Emily and I hung out which is cool.

I've been over at my parents making a billion K's out of frosting. I think they're going to look so cute. I can't wait to see them done. I ended up with a terrible headache yesterday and I'm praying that I don't have one Saturday.

I still can't believe that it's this Saturday. Honestly it still doesn't feel real. It's so weird. I wonder when it will hit me. As I'm walking down the aisle...oh great! FOUR more days!

Four days will fly by in no time! Heck, the week is practically half over already! :)

It may not hit you until after you're walking back UP the aisle, a married woman, but it seems that your excitement for your big day has far outweighed the stress of it all. I'm so excited for you! Despite what I've been through, I still love weddings.
