I'm 28 and live in central Illinois. I've been married to an amazing man for three years. We have a little white dog and just bought our first house! We are also expecting our first child in October. I LOVE design and photography. I'm busy getting my own business up and going. We also do what we can to be a little more eco-friendly.

Not sure if you knew but I'm getting married

Hey, guess what? I'm getting married! Yep, and in only NINE DAYS... Dude, that's single digits. That also means that the 10-day weather forecast is up for next Saturday.



I finished the seating arrangement last night. That means that no one else can cancel or say they are coming. My next task is to help my mom make 450 sugar cookies and to put together 150 programs.

hi kimberly - my sister and i made over 300 sugar cookies for my wedding last fall. are you using Martha's recipe? I think one of the best time savers for us was pre-made royal icing. a local bakery supply shop sells it already made. maybe you can find some near you, it's a big time saver.

i'm trying to think of other tips ... let me know if i can help in any way, answer questions, etc.

well, by already made i meant, already mixed ... you do have to add water.
