Alphabetizing sucks

Last night I tackled our massive cd collection. A couple months ago we decided to put all of our cds back into their original cases instead of having them in the cd books. The problem with this is that we have so many compliations that we've made... We bought a few jewel cases but had about 50-60 to go. So they've pretty much been unorganized since then. For the past couple weeks I've been saying that I'm going to put them back in the books alphabetized.

It just wasn't working to have them in their cases. I didn't want to spend the time looking through them all and having to find the right case.... Basically it was a pain. So I finally got motivated and last night I started the process. I filled the two cases that I had and we need to get another one. I think I got through the O's.

This was after getting to the D's.


And here's what I have left after getting through the O's. There's also a stack of about 50 loose cds that go in with these.
