7 hours in the car so I read a whole book
Sunday, March 20, 2005Today I've been to Wisconsin and back. Long day. I guess I'll back up. Last night Josh and I met Missy and Eric in B-town. We hung out at the mall for awhile that was infiltrated with dozens of junior high kids. We checked out the digital cameras at Best Buy since they're looking to get one. Josh and I found our dream camera as well. The Nikon D70... It was even a hundred dollars cheaper there than Amazon. We talked to the salesman about it for quite awhile. If I wasn't sold before, I am now. Now if only we could come up with an extra thousand dollars. After Best Buy, the four of us headed to Starbucks and Krispy Kreme. Josh tried an espresso (which was pretty gross). He was all hopped up on sugar and caffiene for awhile. Labels: family matters, moolah
Got up early this morning to head to Wisconsin to make it to Josh's cousins confirmation party. Borrowed thirty bucks from my parents so we could make it there. Luckily we did even though gas was $2.17 up in WI. The party was nice...good food and lots of cute kids. Josh and I sat at this miniature table with mini chairs and chatted with three 5th graders. It was a lot of fun. When we first walked in Josh's mom introduced me by saying, "This is Kimberly . . . um, well soon-to-be Knight." That was pretty cool. Only three and a half more months. A bunch of us went to the mall to pick up the WisconsinKnights new iMac. Josh was in heaven at the Apple store. Poor guy has serious mac-envy. They sent the computer home with Josh so he could get it all set up and ready for the them to use. I think within five minutes of walking in my apartment door he was already unpacking the box.
Well it's been a seriously long day. I need to spend some quality time with my puppy.
