about me

I'm 28 and live in central Illinois. I've been married to an amazing man for three years. We have a little white dog and just bought our first house! We are also expecting our first child in October. I LOVE design and photography. I'm busy getting my own business up and going. We also do what we can to be a little more eco-friendly.

It's about friggin' time it's Friday

Friday, February 18, 2005

Last night Josh and I headed over to Jenna's last home volleyball game. It was the night where all the 8th graders get recognized and the parents come out on the court. Very cute. The girls lost but Jen was on fire! She played pretty much all of the two games and did so well. I could feel myself swelling with pride at my little future sister-in-law. Josh and I wanted to yell a lot but we heard that Jenna didn't really like that so we restrained ourselves as much as we could. I think at 8th grade graduation I won't do as well keeping myself quiet.

So it is finally Friday. Good goo, this week has been soooo long. I guess with Josh sick and nothing else exciting going on, there wasn't much to do. This weekend probably won't be anything to get excited about either because Josh and I are so poor this month.

Man, I just hate how everything hits you in one month. I spent some time trying to figure out just how much money I can spend on groceries. I HAVE to get food. It's so bad and has been for over a week now. I basically have peanut butter, some condiments, a little bit of rice and some old cereal. Sad but true. I think I'm going to just take my calculator to the store and add up everything as I go along. That should be LOTS of fun.

Oh well, at least I have Josh, a place to live, a cool dog, and a car...it could be a lot worse.

I know what you mean....timing is everything with those stupid bills and everything. They just keep coming and coming. One after another. And those credit card bills...we gotta hide those cards and pay all those bills off! I am very thankful for all I have too. Just wanted you to know that I understand.
